Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra is a wired siren and a part of the Ajax ecosystem. It is equipped with an LED frame and a piezoelectric alarm indicator capable of producing sound of up to 113 dB in volume. The siren alerts users to multiple types of alarms, signals delays when entering/leaving, displays the current security mode, and notifies of doors being opened. Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra communicates with an Ajax hub using the secure wired Fibra protocol. All alarms and event notifications are instantly sent to Ajax apps, which also allow for remote device management.
A standout feature of Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra is the Brandplate faceplate that gives security service providers the option to print their logo and contact information directly on the siren’s front panel. This transforms the siren into an additional marketing channel, helping providers reach new customers, such as passersby and neighbors.

Informs of any alert
An installer can configure which detectors or security groups the siren responds to. The volume is loud enough to deter intruders and can be changed remotely via the app. The sound can also be muted, leaving only the LED alarm indication. It is bright enough to draw attention from people nearby.
Indicates the delays
Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra can be set to indicate a delay when entering or leaving. If the feature is on, the built-in LED frame and sound remind a user that the site needs to be disarmed.
Displays a security mode
The siren’s LED frame can turn on to show that the site is armed or that the system’s security mode has changed or can always be on to avoid unwanted tracking. This is convenient for those who control the security system using a keypad or key fob. Also, the sound indication can be used to notify when the security mode is changed.
Notifies of the door opening
Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra can make a special sound to indicate that the opening detectors are triggered when the site is disarmed. It is a Chimes feature, and it is perfect for stores. Employees will be immediately notified that new visitors have entered.
Signals the after-alarms
When activated, the LED frame indicates confirmed and unconfirmed alarms and tamper alarms until the site is disarmed.

The wired siren is designed for installation in locations where radio signals are obstructed, such as metal objects (hangars, safes, storage rooms), deep basements, and underground parking lots. In these environments, wired communication ensures reliable operation, unaffected by any obstacles.
Stable performance in heat and cold
Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra is resistant to heat, cold, and rapid temperature changes. The stable performance is provided at temperatures from –13 °F to 140 °F. The hermetically sealed enclosure is rated IP54 for ingress protection.
Works even without Fibra line power supply
The siren is equipped with a backup battery that allows it to continue sounding alarms and signaling events even when the Fibra line power supply is unavailable. This ensures uninterrupted device operation during a power outage, when the hub’s backup battery is nearly out of charge, or if the Fibra line is cut by an intruder.

Fibra is Ajax’s proprietary technology for secure two-way communication between devices and a hub or module that extends the Fibra line. Fibra features encryption and device authentication to prevent sabotage, spoofing, and data theft. Fibra communication is based on the TDMA principle, where each device has a short time frame to exchange data with a hub. For the remainder of the cycle, the device’s communication module remains inactive. This significantly reduces power consumption and helps minimize interference even when multiple devices communicate simultaneously. Moreover, if the Fibra line is damaged or there is a power shortage, the backup battery ensures that Superior StreetSiren DoubleDeck Fibra continues indicating alarms and events.

System supervision
All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to a hub. Essential parameters, including tamper, communication, and power supply statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for monitoring companies and users. In case of any malfunction or connection failure, an installation engineer is informed immediately to provide necessary services.

The device is paired with the hub automatically via Fibra line scanning. This tool is available in the desktop or mobile PRO app. An installer only needs to name the device and assign it to a room and security group. Alternatively, the device can be added by scanning the QR code or entering its ID manually.
