The second life of an old wired alarm
MultiTransmitter Fibra transforms almost any wired security device into a part of the Ajax ecosystem. Breathe new life into outdated equipment and connect devices outside the Ajax portfolio to create a smart security system for projects of any complexity. Integrated devices benefit from everything that both users and security companies love about Ajax: in-app security control, automation scenarios, informative notifications, video surveillance integration, and more.

MultiTransmitter Fibra comes in two versions: as a standalone device in its original casing and as a board. When installed in the original casing, the module’s current status is always visible thanks to LED indication. If purchased without casing, the MultiTransmitter Fibra board can be mounted1 into Case D (430). This setup allows installers to combine the integration module with other devices and arrange them efficiently within a single casing.

Turn outdated into innovative
With Ajax integration modules, there is no need to spend a fortune on replacing an old alarm setup. MultiTransmitter Fibra is designed to help build a modern security and automation system based on outdated yet operative equipment. This solution allows older burglar alarms to seamlessly integrate with the latest Ajax devices, take part in automation scenarios, and send detailed notifications to users’ smartphones. Installers, in turn, save time with minimal on-site visits thanks to fast installation, remote configuration, and real-time monitoring via Ajax apps.

Unfettered potential of an Ajax system
MultiTransmitter Fibra expands the capabilities of an Ajax system to meet the demands of even the most complex and niche projects. The 18 inputs allow installers to integrate any third-party security or automation device outside Ajax portfolio, from infrared motion detectors and household gas sensors to thermostats, and float sensors. Once connected to a hub via the integration module, each device can be assigned an event type and can promptly send notifications of any threat or activity in Ajax apps.
Always in the loop with informative notifications
Third-party devices connected via MultiTransmitter Fibra notify users and security companies of system events on par with Ajax products. Specify the connected device’s name and assign it a virtual room. Choose from over 10 available event types, such as intrusion, fire, or auxiliary alarm. Then, once an alarm is triggered, users and the CMS receive detailed notifications indicating the type of event and its location. MultiTransmitter Fibra also alerts users to malfunctions, such as communication loss.

Numerous event types for connected devices
Maximum compatibility with third-party devices
MultiTransmitter Fibra allows an extensive selection of wired devices to be integrated into an Ajax system. The integration module supports all the most common connection types, including NC, NO, and EOL with resistance from 1 to 15 kΩ. Installers can connect both pulse and bistable devices, set the default state of contacts to normally open or normally closed, and assign one of many event types. The entire configuration process takes just a few taps in an Ajax app.

Less hassle with automated security
With MultiTransmitter Fibra, even older third-party alarm equipment becomes part of a smart and automated security system. Alarms and events received from integrated devices can trigger automation scenarios. This enables the security system to respond to threats instantly, without waiting for a response team or police. For instance, an Ajax system can lock the front door if someone attempts to break it, turn on lights upon the motion detector alarm, or switch off potential ignition sources at the first sign of fire. Devices assigned with a custom event type do not trigger alarms but send event notifications and can activate non-alarm automation scenarios.
Fibra
Unique wired technology
An Ajax system uses secure two-way communication based on Fibra proprietary protocol. It features encryption and device authentication to prevent sabotage, spoofing, and data theft. Fibra lines are versatile and support connecting different types of devices to one line: sirens, keypads, and detectors with photo verification.
Up to 6,550 ft of wired communication with a hub or a module that extends the Fibra line2
One line for different types of devices
Photo delivery via the Fibra line without interference
Protection against sabotage and spoofing
Energy efficiency as a priority
MultiTransmitter Fibra is powered by 100–240 V~ mains and can also use a 12 V⎓ backup battery. The module provides 10.5–15 V⎓ power to connected devices via four power supply outputs: one for a fire detector and three for other devices.
The integration module and its connected devices draw zero energy from the Fibra line and maintain low power consumption from their power supply sources. MultiTransmitter Fibra uses Fibra communication based on the TDMA principle. The device exchanges data with the hub in short intervals. During the rest of the time, its communication module remains inactive. This significantly reduces power consumption and minimizes interference, even when multiple devices communicate simultaneously.

TDMA and power-saving mode
System supervision
MultiTransmitter Fibra performs automatic self-diagnosis and reports its status to the hub. Essential parameters of the integration module, such as tamper state, communication, and power supply, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for the CMS, security companies, and users. In the event of a malfunction or communication failure, an engineer is promptly notified to provide necessary services.

Complex sabotage protection
Next-level protection of the Fibra line
Introducing LineProtect Fibra, the module designed to protect an Ajax hub and connected wired devices from sabotage when intruders cause overvoltage or short circuits, apply 110/230 V~, or use stun guns.
PRO is king
Installing a wired system has always been a challenge. Ajax offers an ultimate set of tools to make the process easy and flexible, from project design to client support and system maintenance. When connecting wired devices via MultiTransmitter Fibra, there is no need to measure each device’s resistance manually. It is done automatically, which is more time-efficient and accurate. Intuitive Ajax apps help quickly make the integration module and third-party equipment a part of the system, and each device can be reconfigured remotely at any moment. No programming is required — everything is available out of the box.

MultiTransmitter Fibra is available for order in its original casing or as a board. The board is compatible1 with Case D (430). Either way, the installation kit includes all the necessary fasteners. Ajax Case offers optimal cable management, special holders for the module, and a built-in tamper module.

Installers can add a module in two ways: by automatically scanning lines or scanning a QR code. When scanning lines, the installer can identify the device through a tap in the app or tamper activation. Adding third-party devices to an Ajax system takes seconds: EOL resistance is measured automatically, and the device is visible in the app.

With Ajax’s proprietary protocols, any Ajax system can transmit alarms to the PRO Desktop monitoring app and third-party CMS. When an alarm is received, the monitoring station operator knows what happened and where the rapid response unit has to be sent. MultiTransmitter Fibra and connected third-party devices are addressable, so events, the device type, and its assigned name and room can be transmitted to PRO Desktop or third-party monitoring software.

Tamper buttons on the MultiTransmitter Fibra board are used only if it is installed in the original casing. One tamper detects the removal of the casing lid, while the other signals if the casing is detached from the surface.
In-app configuration is available only for those parameters that do not require disassembly of third-party devices.
