Effortless integration into the system

The  accessories are quickly and easily integrated into an Ajax system. Each module is installed into Case, with an optimal arrangement of channels for wires, holders for the device, and the built-in tamper module. The modules are paired with a hub automatically via Fibra line scanning. It is also possible to add them by scanning a QR code or manually entering the ID. All testing and configuration are performed in mobile and desktop Ajax apps.

Energy efficiency

Fibra accessories with connected devices consume little or no power from a hub1. The Fibra communication itself requires minimum power consumption and follows the TDMA principle. Each device has a short time frame for exchanging data with a hub. The rest of the time, their communication modules are inactive. Such operation significantly reduces power consumption and helps avoid interferences even when multiple devices communicate simultaneously.

Wired modules to protect, extend, or split the Fibra line

Wired systems in security setups offer robust and reliable performance, especially in professional-grade installations where consistent communication and minimized interference are critical. The Fibra line is no exception, delivering assertive wired communication between devices. However, the effectiveness of these systems often relies on essential accessories designed to tailor the Fibra line to specific needs. Fibra accessories allow users to enhance and customize their systems with features that protect, extend, and split the Fibra line, optimizing the system for small and large facilities.

These modules address security installations' everyday challenges, including protecting devices from electrical sabotage, extending communication reach without signal degradation, and efficiently managing power distribution. Each module provides a targeted solution, making the system more adaptable, reliable, and ready for complex or large-scale security applications.

Types of Fibra accessories: optimizing system versatility

Fibra accessories are categorized by their primary functions, which include line protection, line branching, additional power supply, and line extension. Each accessory serves a unique purpose within the security setup, enabling the system to be fine-tuned for specific environments and requirements.

  1. Line protection modules
Security systems are vulnerable to interference, short circuits, and other electrical challenges that can disrupt their operation. Line protection modules like LineProtect Fibra act as a safeguard, preventing potential damage to devices on the Fibra line from external tampering or sabotage. By adding this protection, the system ensures continuous operation even if an intruder attempts to disrupt the wiring or induce a short circuit.
These modules also prevent accidental disruptions, such as those caused by environmental factors or power fluctuations. The protection module is installed directly onto the Fibra line and is an automatic shield against common electrical issues. This not only prolongs the lifespan of connected devices but also reinforces the system's reliability, especially in high-risk or sensitive locations.
  2. Line branching modules
In complex security setups or extensive facilities, splitting the Fibra line into multiple branches may be necessary to cover different areas efficiently. LineSplit Fibra addresses this need by allowing a single Fibra line to divide into four distinct lines. This branching capability is precious in retrofitting older security systems, where users might want to expand or upgrade existing wiring without completely redoing the infrastructure.
With LineSplit Fibra, users can create a modular and flexible setup that efficiently manages multiple zones within the same building or property. This module makes it easier to expand security coverage without complex rewiring, keeping installation costs low while boosting system functionality.
  3. Additional power supply modules
Extensive facilities with numerous devices on the Fibra line often require supplemental power to ensure all components function optimally. Power supply modules, like LineSupply (75 W) Fibra and LineSupply (45 W) Fibra, deliver additional power, extending the reach and strength of the Fibra line. These power modules help support connected devices by providing stable power even in remote or expansive parts of a property, effectively extending the line's range by up to 2,000 meters.

Extended functionality

Each Fibra accessory is designed with a dedicated functionality to meet specific security needs. Whether it's the LineSplit module's branching capabilities, the LineSupply's power extension, or the LineProtect's sabotage prevention, each module offers enhanced features that allow users to upgrade and customize their systems without extensive rewiring. These modules make it possible to adapt the security system over time, meeting the evolving needs of the environment without requiring a complete overhaul.

Effortless integration and installation

Fibra accessories integrate seamlessly with existing systems, simplifying installation and configuration. Each module can be quickly paired with a security hub by scanning the Fibra line, scanning a QR code, or entering the ID manually. This streamlined process reduces setup time and allows installers to deploy modules in multiple locations quickly and efficiently.

Energy efficiency and reduced interference

Fibra accessories are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Connected devices consume minimal power from the hub, and the Fibra line uses a TDMA (time-division multiple access) communication method, reducing overall power consumption. With TDMA, each device on the line communicates with the hub within a dedicated time slot, meaning communication modules are only active briefly, reducing energy use and avoiding signal interference. This efficient design also allows more devices to operate on the same line, improving overall system scalability without sacrificing performance.

Ensuring a high-performance security system with Fibra accessories

Fibra accessories provide a vital means of enhancing the effectiveness and reliability of wired security systems. By offering solutions for protection, branching, power supply, and efficient data transmission, these modules allow for custom configurations suited to any environment. From small residential properties to large industrial sites, Fibra accessories help users create a robust security network with the flexibility to scale and adapt to specific requirements over time.

Whether protecting against electrical sabotage, managing power distribution, or extending coverage without extensive wiring, Fibra accessories are essential for optimizing a security system. With suitable modules, a wired security system becomes a versatile, energy-efficient, and resilient solution capable of meeting diverse security demands.
