About the product

inView Detect PID is a modular wheeled intrusion detection unit based on Ajax products. Powered by built-in batteries and solar panels, this autonomous system offers rapid one-person deployment at vacant property, a construction site, on a highway, at a car park, public event, power station, and other locations needing mobile perimeter protection.

The system operates on the Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller wireless control panel. With a communication range of up to 6,550 ft and the support for up to 100 devices, the hub ensures seamless scalability for large facilities. New units and devices can be connected to an existing hub or a range extender and monitored in a single Ajax app. The hub securely delivers alarms and images from motion detectors to Clearway’s own alarm receiving center (ARC) and users via encrypted proprietary protocols. It can switch between communication channels to ensure uninterrupted alerts to both ARC operators and users.

Four MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller detectors handle the system’s primary security function. They offer 360° motion detection and photo verification of potential threats. Upon alarm, by schedule, scenario, or demand, the devices send a series of images to the monitoring station. Operators can verify the alarms and respond accordingly. The pet immunity feature prevents false alarms caused by animals appearing within the 15-meter detection zone.

In case of an intrusion, the system activates StreetSiren Jeweller. The siren emits a 113 dB sound, deterring intruders and ensuring the threat is immediately noticed.

The system uses Relay Jeweller for dual purposes. It activates four strobe lights upon an alarm to visually signal an intrusion attempt. At the same time, Ajax relays monitor the supply voltage of the system’s external battery and display this data in the Ajax app. This allows users and monitoring centers to assess the battery level and replace it in a timely manner, without compromising the site security.

inView Detect is designed as a lightweight, portable alternative to stationary security systems. Its wheeled design and simple setup allow a single installer to deploy the entire system. Despite the ease of installation and monitoring, the system provides reliable protection, approved by the UK Home Office.
