Challenge
To implement intrusion protection and fire detection into existing security infrastructure
Ensuring the security of storage centers was a key priority for M3storage. The system needed to provide continuous monitoring and automate critical security functions. These included activating scenarios by schedule, controlling access shutters, and managing the electric fence. Additionally, the new security solution had to easily integrate with the existing video surveillance system, enhancing protection without requiring complex modifications to the infrastructure.
Solution
Wireless security system combining automation, fire detection, and intrusion protection controlled with a single app
M3storage chose Ajax for its wireless solutions that provide quick installation, uncompromised reliability, and autonomous operation. The system is set up and controlled via the user-friendly Ajax app. The system’s flexibility and efficiency make it ideal for securing multiple locations.
At the core of the security system is Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller that ensures reliable communication and automation. It allows users to create up to 32 automation scenarios to enhance security measures and minimize the impact of the human factor. The scenarios arm and disarm an entire system or security group by schedule, and control lights, electric locks, roller shutters, and electric fences by arming/disarming or by detector triggering.
DoorProtect Jeweller detectors were installed at entry points to prevent unauthorized access and instantly notify about intrusion attempts.
To secure storefront windows and glass partitions GlassProtect Jeweller detectors were installed. Thanks to a unique DualTone digital algorithm, the detectorʼs microphone responds only to vibrations characteristic of the glass-breaking sound. This minimizes false alarms from background noise, such as traffic or barking dogs. Adjustable sensitivity levels allow precise tuning for different environments.
MotionProtect Jeweller detectors protect storages indoors. They are equipped with PIR sensors that monitor an area within a 12-meter radius and effectively recognize human movement. The detectors differentiate between the IR charts of a human and thermal noise, minimizing the risk of false alarms. When motion is detected, the system immediately raises an alarm, triggers sirens, activates automation scenarios, and notify security personnel. Advanced temperature compensation ensures reliable detection across various environmental conditions.
HomeSiren Jeweller indoor sirens were installed throughout the protected areas. These devices feature an LED frame and a sound intensity of up to 100 dB providing instant alerts in case of intrusion or fire. An installer can set up which detector triggers the siren’s sound and LEDs.
Deploying FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/Smoke) Jeweller detectors addressed fire safety in storage centers. These devices detect smoke and rapid temperature increases, while their advanced software minimizes false alarms. The unique smoke chamber does not require regular cleaning; the dual-spectrum sensor distinguishes smoke from steam, and the thermistor quickly reacts to burning synthetic materials. Everything for accurate and fast hazard detection and notification.
Relay Jeweller restarts freight and passenger elevators in case of power failures or system malfunctions. The device enables automation scenarios, such as activating the electric fence and raising or lowering the access shutters. These features enhance security while minimizing the need for on-site intervention.

All connected M3storage facilities are displayed in one app, allowing administrators to oversee security across multiple locations without switching between systems.
