About the product
LOCKPROTECT by nolon is a security device that detects attempts to open a door before the lock is picked — not during or after a break-in. It prevents unauthorized access to public and private premises by blocking the keyhole. The cover conceals the lock from view, and the built-in mechanism activates an alarm at the slightest attempt to interfere, before any indoor detectors in the system are triggered.
The device integrates with an Ajax system via a DoorProtect Plus Jeweller board. A shock sensor on the board reacts to attempts to knock out the lock or break the door. This enables LOCKPROTECT to detect various forced entry methods, such as kicking the door, prying it with a crowbar, or drilling it, as well as attempts to damage the device itself. Additionally, a built-in accelerometer detects any movement of the keyhole cover. This allows for detecting attempts to examine the lock structure as early as at the planning stage of a break-in.
LOCKPROTECT attaches directly over the keyhole, eliminating the need to disassemble the door or connect any power wiring. The device is convenient for everyday use. To unlock the door with a key, simply slide the lid to the side. When closed, the lid easily snaps back into place thanks to built-in magnets.
The device is available for the Ukrainian, Italian, and Spanish markets. It is compatible with standard cylinder and lever locks. LOCKPROTECT comes in white, black, and chrome colors and can be easily matched with various door designs for both functionality and aesthetics.
